Connecticut.

I'm back from a lovely weekend away with Nick. Sorry to say I did not bring my camera. Nick brought his cameras but only took a few pictures of some abandoned buildings with his film camera. But here are a few photos of our weekend in a nutshell via Instagram :) Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend.

Stopped at a flea market and found some movies! We also went to Savers and Barnes and Nobles and got a couple books and I got a jacket and top that I'll share with you later.

Our first night we went to Hibachi with the family. We got to have our chef cook our Japanese dishes right in front of us! Sooo goood :) Chicken, rice, shrimp, and vegetables.

Quick update.

The past week has been filled with birthday activities and relaxing as much as possible. So I have been catching up on all my magazines and recently started reading the "Twilight" series. I'm already on the third book and I'm really enjoying them so far. I know that they were much more popular a few years ago, but I was so set against reading them or seeing the movies because my little sister is ridiculously obsessed and she usually has a different idea of a good versus a bad book. The glitter clutch was purchased at Aldo for $35. I decided that it would be better to have a small bag for going out rather than a large sized purse where it can be easily misplaced or taken. I did not take any pictures during any of my birthday festivities but I had a wonderful time:) Nick took me out to dinner on Friday after spending the day together. And Saturday, I went into Boston with a few girls from my work and danced. I'll update later with all of my new things!

Thrifty Thursday 7.

I found this completely sequin vintage top on Etsy.com for $10! I plan on wearing it out for my birthday this weekend:) It's more of a crop-top length, than a t-shirt length.

I will update tonight, I promise. I've been busy and have been spending my free time reading, mostly. But tonight I will update for Thrifty Thursday and also some new recent purchases. DEFINITELY!
